The view from this room is magnificent

catching the early morning sunshine.  It is decorated with prints and paintings of various waterfowl.  A flock of duck decoys perch themselves on a shelf above the window.

       The front entry opens to a spectacular spacious sun-filled great room that is the focal point of the home.  Designer windows flank a floor to ceiling moss rock fireplace.  A raised ceiling, bay window and parquet floor make for a warm and inviting atmosphere.

   

   Large and small family groupings abound in this room, including a relaxing corner for dad with leather recliner, great for catching a nap or reading a good book.

       Our kitchen is a chef's delight, fully equipped with anything and everything you need to make mealtime special.

  BEDROOMS

       Windsong features five bedrooms, four upstairs, and one on the main level. We have five queen size beds and one full bed.  Each room has a name and is decorated with a theme.  All beds are adorned with handmade quilts.  Each room includes lounge chairs, alarm clocks, reading lamps and luggage racks.

of books is filled with selections from our own personal libraries which we want to preserve and share with others.  These are books we

frequently take down to browse through ourselves.  Selections include:

      The dining room bridges the great room with the kitchen.  It boasts a spacious 9 foot table that seats 10. Extra chairs can accommodate an even larger crowd.  Great for holidays and family get

togethers.  We even have a high

chair for the little ones.               

FOREST ROOM

   

    Favorite of our family members, this soothing room offers serenity and calm after a busy vacation outing.

    Oil paintings of mountain landscapes predominate the walls.

    Wonderful view of the aspens in  the fall.

WETLANDS ROOM

        This charming main floor room is a favorite of everyone, but we suggest the physically challenged get first choice.  It is adjacent to the bathroom and kitchen area. 

        Decorated with frontier and western motifs, delighting young and old.

        Windsong has complete laundry facilities to include washer,

dryer, deep laundry sink/tub.  Above the washer and dryer are

spacious shelves which hold all the cleaning supplies you will need to

maintain a modern home.  We provide laundry soap, refills for hand soap dispensers, toilet paper, paper towels and trash bags.  You will also find:

        three compartment laundry sorter       

        iron and board

        TV Trays

        electric turkey roaster

        battery powered lantern

        fire extinguisher

       

Under the libray shelves is our "Kids Library", filled with children and youth books, videos,games,puzzles and more.  We also have a nice variety of family games  including monopoly, chess, checkers, and backgammon.  Our great room is equipped with satelite TV, with a DVD/VCR player and recorder.  An additional TV is located in the Wetlands room.

       Windsong also has a deck located just

outside the great room, through sliding patio

doors.  It has a 5 piece set of patio furniture, chairs & benches and a picnic table. A gas BBQ grill is nearby for all your

grilling needs.

  6 PERSON HOT TUB    

       We have our new 6-7 person hot tub up and running, along with the installation of our new patio.  More room for your family to spread out, relax & enjoy.
